this is a custom system that I built. It has a Shuttle
AK12A motherboard. AMD 1500MHZ. CPU, 712MB PC133 RAM. A
Geforce 2 Video card, a 20 gig HD. It was working fine
with xp for a while then one day I got a blue screen
saying stop error c000025a. I couldn't get windows to
reboot. So I hooked up my drive as a slave to this comp
and copied all of my files that I needed off. Then I fut
it back into the other machine. started a clean install.
Deleted the partition and reformated the drive then
started the install. My XP is the upgrade version. It
askes for my 98 disc to verify that I can upgrade then
copies all the files it needs to install. After
completing copying the files it restarts the system and
you see the white loading bar then the windows xp splash
screen then it flashes the error "Isass.exe - Not Enough
Quota. Not enough virtual Memory or paging file quota is
availabe to complete the pecified operation."
Then it reboots and says restarting setup and then
flashes the same error and reboots again. Endless loop.
What do I need to do so that I can get it fixed. any help
apreciated thanks.

No need to format, partition etc, The installation process will do it
automatically.
Try it this way:
Clean Installation
Disconnect all peripherals (camera, printer, scanner, etc)
Disconnect network/modem cable.
Go to BIOS and set CDROM as boot device before hard drive.
Insert Windows XP CD and reboot.
At "Press any key to boot to CDROM" quickly press a key and follow the
prompts for a Clean installation:

If you are installing using Windows XP Upgrade, insert qualifying
media in Step 4b.
Delete all partitions in step 5 if you desire to erase all data on the
hard drive.
Partitioning and formatting will be done automatically.
All data will be destroyed, back-up important data first.

Enable or install firewall BEFORE connecting network cable.

Install ALL Critical Windows Updates:
Start/All Programs/Windows Update

After you are finished, you will need to load the appropriate drivers.

If your computer was shipped with Windows XP, these procedures may or
may not apply.
Check your manual or contact the computer manufacturer for more
details.

I'm having a similar problem with XP. I'm using a custom
Ath970, 768RAM PC100, Nvidia64 4xAGP, 40GB drive, ATA 133
card. I'm using a full install version of XP trying to
install to a separate partition with Me running on
another. Me is running "fine" (typical Me instability),
but Xp is doing a similar looping error. I've received
the "Isass.exe" error as well, but mostly, after I get
through the XP "preparing installation" part of install,
the computer reboots, and I get to a screen that allows me
to select XP setup or Me. I select XP setup, and setup
continues with the black XP logo screen, then begins
the "installing windows" portion of setup, but then I get
a pop-up warning screen that says:
"The file c:\$WIN_NT$~LS\i386\asms\6000
\MSFT\WINDOWS\COMMON\CONTROLS\CONTROLS.Man is corrupt; it
contains all zeroes.
I then get the message:
"FATAL ERROR" An error has been encountered that prevents
setup from continuing. One of the components that windows
needs to continue setup could not be installed.
Manifest Parse Error: Invalid at the top level of the
document. Press ok to view the setup log file.
If anyone can help fix this problem I'd appreciate it.
I've installed XP from this disk before with no problem,
but it won't let me install now either as a dual OS setup
or on its own.
