I have tried everything I can think of...am EXTREMELY frustrated & have
wasted too much time on this.

I can't see my other computers on the network. "Network path not found," etc.

Please help/desperate

Thanks for any & all help.

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall. There are other possibilities too - what
antivirus do you use?. Read this article with an open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:

I use Norton Internet Security. However, I already tried disabling all my
firewalls, virus protection, etc. on both computers & still no connection.

Thanks for the info; I really appreciate it & will try all that you posted.

I will; thanks again for your help. How do I change the value to 0 in
anonymous access restriction?

The restrictanonymous (dang you made me type it again) setting is in the
registry. Read this article, and linked articles - all the explanation you
should need is there.

Thanks Chuck for your time/help. I really appreciate it. I'm not sure how
to do the registry & I've wasted far too much time on this already. It's not
imperative that I have a network now. But I will need one in the near
future.

Thank again,

Scott

Thanks for the feedback, Scott. You know where to find us in the near future.
The registry setting is simpler then you think.

Thanks again for your time. I'll probably try again in a few days -- After
the frustration has worn off! I'll let you know what happens.

We'll be here, Scott.

My rule of thumb is, if the frustration ever wears off, you are not doing all
that you could. Computer use = frustration.
