Your message isn't very clear.

http://users.tpg.com.au/bzyhjr/liszt.html

Are you using Windows Mail, the email/newsreader program that comes
with Vista? If so, it has problems attaching files that are still open in
some
other program, so close any other programs you have used to create or
open the file. If get error messages when trying to send picture files,
even
after all other programs using the file are closed, right click on the error
messages and copy the entire error messages into your next message.

Define "direct mail". Unless this involves the Windows Mail program,
we will probably need to send you to a different help group.

Said message can't be sent as authentication setting might not be correct. I
went to help, as suggested, and couldn't find "Troubleshoot Windows Mail"
Also showed one of my e-mail addresses that couldn't go through.

Presumably your Windows Mail will display some error message when
you try to send. Right-click on the error message, copy, then paste it
into a reply here. We need that diagnostic information for troubleshooting.

That doesn't look like a complete error message from Windows Mail,
which often comes in two paragraphs. We're likely to give better answers
if you show the complete error message.

I've been having sending mail for 2 weeks. Plus, when I checking my inbox the
email I read doesn't make rean and stays unread.
Thanks, Jeanette

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

Your message isn't very clear either. Is English your first language?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375

If you need a translation, click on the triangle under Article Translations
near the
top right corner, then the language you prefer, then the arrow to the right
of
the triangle.

It looks like you've provided only half of the error message, which often
looks
like two paragraphs. If so, right click on ther error message and copy all
of it
to your next message.

Also, problems in Windows Mail are frequently due to interference from
antivirus programs. What if any antivirus programs do you have, and have
you ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that computer?

Do you have a programs called Google Toolbar or one called SMS Desktop
installed? They also cause problems in Windows Mail. Using a website that
lets you do a Google search is not a problem.

See if you need to download and install this hotfix as a temporary fix:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other
folders.
