I am trying to configure Outlook to run on a Win2000
advanced server and to interact with SQL server. SQL
Server requires a "valid mapi profile."
I have a test setup on my desktop machine (WinXP Pro)
that has the standard Outlook installation and a local
instance of SQL. In this configuration it works great.
When I try it on the server, SQL (running as a service in
the same domain account as that configured for Outlook)
can see an Outlook profile, but when I go to test it I
get:
Error 18025: xp_test_mapi_profile failed with error
0x80040111.
I can send and receive email from this Outlook and it's
configured the same way. Is there anything special I
need to do on this server to make is a "valid mapi
profile" that is different from my local machine?
Thanks,
Ken
