Hi all,
There is a public computer I use with public access so a LOT of people
use it.
It is now infected and the task bar is find of constantly reminding me.

I tried several free sources but either it won't download certain
componants (i.e. Trend Micro), or I can't install a free one as I don't
have administrative rights.

Can anyone suggest one that I can down load on this PC that WILL run
and clean it up?
Thanks

If you are able to copy a file to the desktop, you can run Sysclean. Do
the preparatory steps here:

Then scan with Sysclean:

Otherwise, you'll need to take the machine off-line and to your systems
administrator for cleaning.

Thank you but the computer would not instal the required ActiveX.
I was just trying to help them out but I give up. Too hard.

After reading the prep work I thought it best not preceed. I'm not that
profcient that I can recognize good and bad windows files.
But thanks very much for the suggetion.
