trouble after replacing failing HD

Had to replace HD after receiving "imminent HD failure" Now I can't d/l an
attachment or a program (AVG virus) or a jpeg. Not to my "desktop,"" my
pictures" or "my Documents!" I've lost workability of several programs but
I'm in limbo with furniture and XP Disc in storage so cannot repair Outlook
or Microsoft Word etc. I can live with that but need the ability to download
things.

If you "replaced your hard drive" - then how did you get the OS and
applications back on..

You've left out one pretty vital step there that would help anyone help you.

Used "seadisk" from Seagate that came with new HD
