Trojfile

After using a registry cleaner, I found (in
registered file types) the ext. .tc3 with the
description "Trojfile". The info offered with the reg.
cleaner was HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.tc3. I cannot find
anything more on this in Google, etc. Does anyone know
what this file is? My AV caught and deleted a trojan in
temp IE files approximately a month ago. Also, I ran a
trojan detector and it says I'm clean. Any assistance is
appreciated.

Hi Moni,

Start/run regedit, navigate to that key (it's period - tc3). Click on it,
then on file/export and save a copy to the desktop. Then delete the key. See
if it effects anything for few days/weeks. If not, then delete the copy. If
it cases problems, remerge the file by double-clicking it.
