Trojan.startpage virus

I am running XP Professional. Norton 2003 Anti-virus
tells me that I have the Trojan.startpage virus. Norton
cleaned my system of other viruses but can't remove this
one object. I have found where the object is & everytime
I try to delete it I get the message that it is
either "write protected or it is currently in use". I
have found that the virus controls my home web page (when
opening internet explorer it goes to the web
page "www.coolsearch.com".) The object is located
in...C:> Windows>System32.

Is there away I can disarm the program or delete it?
Please advise.

Hi go to the bottom link "merijn.org"and download the
cool web shedder update it and run the program it should
remove the parasite.Also spywareblaster prevents many
types of cool web search from being installed in the
first place. Good luck
