I have a bit of a problem. It appears two trojans have hijacked my computer,.
I have found one but due to two of them on my system - I am having a problem
getting stuff deleted and stopped.
I am positive the second never got started, its main control is still in my
system root although it has attempted to start and believes it has full
access to the root - when in fact all it has is a folder named WINDOWS. The
first one has gotten closer while still not getting into my locked down
systemroot.

Im pretty sure that I have succeeded in removing the first trojan but I
still cant undo the damage from the latter, it still has my recycler broken
and other parts broken. I did manage to break its ability to communicate
while the bugs are still roaming free.
The main trojan was a sub7, I found most of it and have gotten rid of it.
got the system back on track with the system root, the second is a gaobot or
could be another sub7. I know for sure there was 2 sub7 in my hdd.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get both stopped together? I am
sure that I am really close. Close enough that I have access to all of the
admin logs and stuff, just no control panel to control it and it would not
help much anyway. Both are fighting each other for access while I have the
only true system root access. We have tried several wipes, manual removal
appears to be the best thing in this case.
I hope this isnt too confusing and really dont want to give out too much
info about this, other than what I feel somewhat safe in revealing.

thanks in advance

The GAOBot is an Internet worm, not a Trojan.

Download MULTI_AV.EXE from the URL --
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/Multi_AV.exe

To use this utility, perform the following...
Execute; Multi_AV.exe { Note: You must use the default folder C:\AV-CLS }
Choose; Unzip
Choose; Close

Execute; C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT
{ or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS }

NOTE: You may have to disable your software FireWall or allow WGET.EXE to go through your
FireWall to allow it to download the needed AV vendor related files.

C:\AV-CLS\StartMenu.BAT -- { or Double-click on 'Start Menu' in C:\AV-CLS}
This will bring up the initial menu of choices and should be executed in Normal Mode.
This way all the components can be downloaded from each AV vendor's web site.
The choices are; Sophos, Trend, McAfee, Kaspersky, Exit this menu and Reboot the PC.

You can choose to go to each menu item and just download the needed files or you can
download the files and perform a scan in Normal Mode. Once you have downloaded the files
needed for each scanner you want to use, you should reboot the PC into Safe Mode [F8 key
during boot] and re-run the menu again and choose which scanner you want to run in Safe
Mode. It is suggested to run the scanners in both Safe Mode and Normal Mode.

When the menu is displayed hitting 'H' or 'h' will bring up a more comprehensive PDF help
file. http://www.ik-cs.com/multi-av.htm
