trojan horse

AVG has found a trojan horse in Hooker DLL (Trojan Horse
PSW. Banker M.)
When AVG tries to place it in a vault I get the message
C:\windows\Hooker DLL> DLL can not be removed.

I tried Microsofts own web site but gave up as it is so
slow.
Can anyone help please.

AVG can't place it in its vault because the trojan is active. Reboot into "safe mode" and run another scan it should remove it then.
