Hi everyone--- been doing a lot of research lately, after getting the WtoolsS thing. I think I've got that taken care of. I now have a warning window alerting me of a qdown.c trojan horse in my system volume and prompting me to scan w/my free version of AVG 6.0--but it doesn't 'catch' it. I also have 'Spybot' and it doesn't specifically show it either. It does list what is referred to as 'dos' items in my registry under video, which is probably another problem, as they haven't been 'fixed'. My question is what are trojans-- viruses or spyware and what do you do about them? Have an XP home (student version) that has updates. I have learned a lot reading the responses to all the problems people (computers) have. Thanks for any comments from anyone.

I have a trojan and a sasser worm and have learned a lot
from the site "www.microsoft.com" conserning these
things. You might want to go there and read up on these
and see if this helps you. Good Luck.
