I created an Access database before ID theft was even thought of and would
push my clients' info to a handheld device with SSN and birthdates if I ever
had to request info from the Home Office.

So now I have this database of thousands of clients and I need to trim off
all but the last 4 digits of thier social security numbers and I'm struggling
to find out how to do such in a query that would then create the export CSV
or report.

Thanks!

Curious, why would you suggest not storing SSN's in an Access database?" Of
course, we use Windows EFS on the folder the db's are in.
