I have y data for an extensive set of x and a chart from it,
displaying the data for all x/y.
However, I would like to draw a trendline for a limited set of x only
and extend the line for the whole set of x.
How can I do this ?
Thank you

Select the subset, and plot that as an additional series (to which you can
add the trendline). [You can make the series line & markers invisible if
you wish to do so.]

It's probably good to show the second series, to indicate where the
trendline came from.
