transpose not working

I have address data in cells B1, C1, D1, E1

I'm copying the 4 cells, Paste Special (in cell A1), Transpose and
only the first cell is showing up in A1 (C1, D1, E1) data didn't get
pasted.

Any suggestions?

That is transpose, that is just copy over.

Just select B1:E1, cut, select A1, copy.
