transparent folders

Those folders are probably "hidden" folders. Depending on your folder options, they may be completely hidden (they don't show up at all) or in your case, transparent. I'd suggest you don't change any of those folders unless you created them yourself (for example...a lot of system files/folders are "hidden" and you don't want to change the system files). If you did create the folder and/or file yourself, then you can unhide it. To unhide it, right click on it, and select properties. Towards the bottom of the "properties" window, it should say "Attributes:". Next to that, you should see two checks, "Read-only" and "Hidden". If "hidden" is checked, then that folder/file is "hidden". Uncheck "hidden" then hit "OK". It shouldn't be transparent anymore
You can also go to "Start", "Control Panel", and "Folder Options". Then select the "View" tab at the top of the screen. Look in the "Advanced settings" section. Under "Hidden files and folders", you can either select "Do not show hidden files and folders" or "Show hidden files and folders". I think the rest is self-explainatory. Then just hit "OK"

Hope this helps
