Translating funtions

Hello
I have just searched the archives of this newsgroup to try and find the
answer myself...to no avail.

Up till 2 years ago, I always used Excel in English. I now live in France
and use French Excel. I have managed to get used to most of the function I
need in French (vlookup - recherchv etc.) but would love to have the full
list of functions in both languages. Even more so now that I have started
reading this ng! There are lots of tips that you guys use that I would love
to try out myself.

I did see a tip somewhere referenced in the archives to insert a new sheet
as a intl macro -and then use English before copying it back to a normal
page - didn't work (or I didn't succeed in making it work!!

Any help much appreciated!!

Hi Ciara!

My Functions List draft version 3.0 has got the translation of the
names. Email direct and I'll send a copy.

It's still draft and I'm waiting for a volunteer to translate
descriptions and Syntax for French.

Dutch and Portuguese (Brazil) are done and Danish, Spanish, Japanese
and Swedish are in progress.

Still looking for Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian,
Portuguese (Portugal), and Russian.
