I was going to give you at least a partial response but unfortunately the
subject of this newsgroup is Microsoft Access database software. You'll get
better help if you ask in a newsgroup concerning "automated translation" or,
even better, Google on that exact phrase.

OK, so here's the partial answer: One of the returned URLs from that Google
search was

http://babelfish.altavista.digital.com/

Sometimes the comparison of original and translation can be "humorous" no
matter what automated translation software you use. But, it's cheaper than
hiring a bilingual human to do it, in most cases.

Or, sign up at your local Community College Adult Education operation for
their series of courses in German, study hard, work at it, and in due course
of time, you will be able to read the site in its native language. But, if
you surf to sites in enough foreign languages, just studing the languages
will keep you busy.

There's a newsgroup called sci.lang.translation that might help. It
all depends on the quantity of text you want translated: if it's a
small amount someone on SLT will probably do it for you online for
free. If there's a large quantity I'm afraid you're going to have to
pay for it -- in the way you pay for other useful services!

Guten Morgen Barb,

Wie wissen Sie dass der Ort ein Interesse zu Ihnen hat, wenn Sie Deutsch
nicht sprechen können ??

Not spoken German since I left school (mind you I didn't pay any attention
to the Enlish lessons either ?? - English to "very" difficult - did you know
there are over 100 meanings for the word "set" ) anyway hope you get the idea.
