Transform path error

I'm running XP Home Edition with MS Office 2000. When I installed Office, I
was the only user. I have now added five others and none of the Office
applications is available to the other users (everything still works fine
for me). I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office -- it still works for
me, and the Office programs show up in the other users Start menu. However,
when I try to start the applications while logged on as another user, I get
the following message:

"Windows Installer: Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified
transform paths are valid."

If anyone has any idea what's going on (and, more importantly, how to fix
it), I would really appreciate hearing your ideas.

Thanks.

Hi Chuck,

Have you tried installing it while logged on as one of the other users?

Rick,

Thanks for the tip. I have tried what you suggest, setting one of the other
users up as an administrator. When the CD autoruns the Windows Installer
pops open, then I get the transform path error again.

Last time I uninstalled Office, I ran an app called RegSeeker to clean all
the old junk out of my Registry. That didn't fix the problem, so I'm still
puzzled.

Thanks again.

Hi Chuck,

See if this helps:
