XP recently crashed on me and I haven't been able to get it working. I have given up and instead hooked up my hard drive to another computer running XP and started backing up my files onto the new hard drive. When I got the documents and settings folder, though, I received error messages that I couldn't copy any of the files in the subdirectories. I can't get windows to boot anymore off that drive even with the boot disc. any ideas how I can get access to that folder on the broken window's hard drive?
