I just got a new computer. I have hundreds of saved e-mails on my old
computer I would like to transfer to my new computer.

On my old computer, I have Microsoft Outlook 2000 (where all of the saved
e-mails are at presently).

On my new computer, I have Microsoft Outlook 2003 (where I want all of the
saved e-mails on my old computer to be at).

Is there a quick way I can transfer all of these old saved e-mails I have on
my old computer in Microsoft Outlook 2000 to my new computer where they will
be in Microsoft Outlook 2003? Also, my internet access on my old computer is
dial-up access while my internet access on my new computer is wireless
internet via satellite.

By the way, I know the long way I can do this, but I would like to avoid
that if at all possible.

Easiest thing to do is ...

Setup Outlook on your new computer first.
On the new computer, make sure that Outlook is closed
Rename your PST file.
Copy the PST over from your old computer.
Start Outlook.
It will say that it cannot find the PST file.
Use the screen to choose your old PST.

Outlook 2003 will now work with your old data.

At some point in time you may want to convert your data file over to 2003
format as this can hold more data.
