Gigabytes? You have several options:
- By joining the two PCs with a network cable.
- By using a hard disk in an external USB case.
- By temporarily installing your own disk as a
slave disk in the Win98 PC.

The last option may require you to run ntfsdos.exe
(www.sysinternals.com).

my 98 computer doesnt have a usb and it won't take a network cable, the only
ports it has on the back is a 5 pin telephone line, parralell port and to
serial ports.

Although the last options given (removing your hard drive and setting the
jumper settings and installing it temporarily in your new system - or in an
external USB/firewire hard drive case) is probably where you are going to
have to head..

Null-Modem cable is an option.
Purchasing and installing a network adapter in your Win98 PC may be an
option (heck - a USB card is an option as well - but network is easier.)

Also - are you even sure that Windows 98 computer has gigabytes of hard disk
space available for you to use up?

How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

Lol, it has 250 something megabytes for me to use up, not much :)

What are you trying to do?
1 gigabyte is 1,000 megabytes.
Are you wanting more space on the hard drive?
