transferring emails and contacts - PC to mac

Hello i bought a mac. how do i transfer all my old emails and contacts from
my PC (in outlook) to use on my mac (in outlook too).

thanks in advance for you help.
 
Hi,

I had the same problem too, plus I decided not to use Outlook on my Mac but
to use Mail instead, this was even harder, so I used a trick: sync all
contact and so with my mobile phone then sync it back on the mac with the
Adress Book. Maybe you can use that too? Otherwise, without checking (my
machine is at home) I'm pretty sure you can import the most commons format,
such as PST or PAB on Entourage (Outlook for Mac).
