Transferring Email Files

My new laptop has Windows XP and the old one has Windows
98. I want to transfer the email messages and address book
from the old one to the new one.

What are the file names in the old computer?

Where do I copy them to in the new one?

It would help if we knew what mail program you are using.
If I can assume that it's Outlook Express,
