I would like to get all my addresses from my old Windows 98 computer onto my
new computer. Also my web favorites. How is this done?

thanks

Internet Explore allows you to Import and Export favorites and
cookies. Starting on the 98 machine, open Internet Explorer and
click on the File button on the Toolbar and select Export from
the drop down menu. Follow the instructions and save the file
someplace that your new PC can access (floppy disk, CD or a
network location). On the XP machine, follow the same procedure
except select Import.

If you're using Outlook Express as your email client then the
procedure is similar. Take a look here for more info:

If you'd like to move more items from your old PC to the new one,
you might want to familiarize yourself with the Files and
Settings Transfer wizard feature of Windows XP. For more info
