transferring acct from outlook express to windows mail...

Gourmet on Wheels

Got a new computer, found the incoming and outgoing server from my existing
outlook acct. Tried to apply it towards windows mail...didnt work...help!
 
Check your settings under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties and make sure
you have the correct passwords and ports. They should be the same as with
OE.

Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.
