Hello,

I had to create a new installation of XP home on a new
hard disk. The original load became corrupt and
unavailable after an upgrade to service pack 2. I made the
original corrupt installation of XP home the slave drive
and installed a new copy of XP Home to a new separate
disk. When I boot to the new installation of XP Home, I
want to copy the user accounts off of the corrupt
installation which is now the D:\. How do I bypass the
security so that I can copy all the existing user accounts
off of the now D:\ windows XP Home installation to the new
C:\ windows XP installation.

I don't think it will work like you think it will.. But you can at least get
your files and favorites/etc...
