Transfering data/table from excell to access

I have a messy table, with valuable information on it, in excell. I was
wondering where ive set up a table in access with my own fields to make it
tidy'er is there a way to transfer the information straight into that table??
 
Create a new database in Access and then click FILE, GET EXTERNAL DATA,
IMPORT to initiate the import process.

Change the file type to Excel, locate the workbook and select the file.
Then follow the on-screen directions to import the data into either a new or
existing table.
