I want to transfer all my data and files from my old PC to
my new one. How do I do this

Three ways..

1. install the drive from the old computer as a slave to the new, and copy
at leisure..

2. copy files to a cdrw, and transfer to the new pc

3. network the two computers using network cards and a crossover cable..

If you do not have a cdrw in the old machine, I would suggest that you go
for option 1 as it is easier maybe than trying to set up a home network..

Good luck

many different ways you can burn CD's. Put both computers on the same
network and transfer files use a crossover cable
a USB cable made to network computers. A backup and restore will work Ghost
will transfer everything.
Take the hard drive out and put it in the new computer as a second drive.

Some new hard drives come with utilities to move your files. I am sure
there are more but these should be a start!
