Transfer Wizard won't work.

Hi all,

I have one machine that has version 5.1.2600.0 of FSTW and a
newer machine that is a laptop that has 5.1.2600.2665
on it. The error message says that the 2665 version
will not accept data from the older one. How do I make
these versions match, just copy over the whole sub-directory?

Run the FAST wizard from the same XP CD on both computers. Another option is
on the source computer choose the option to create a floppy disk with the
FAST wizard on it and run it from the floppy on the target computer. The
third option is to uninstall the KB896344 update from the target or install
it on the source.

After I boot both computers and put the xp cd in the first one, how do I
run the FAST wizard? Where is it?

The article isn't quite right. You also have to run the FAST wizard from the
CD on the target computer.
