I have installed Outlook 97 on a new computer and would like to transfer
all of my customization from the old to the new. I know that
Outlook.pst contains the data but if I just transfer it I don't get all
of the new folders I had set up on the Outlook Bar among other things.

What other files do I need to transfer in order to make the new Outlook
look like the old?

I don't use Outlook for e-mail but might sometime want to do so. Can I
import all the Outlook Express folders such as Sent and Saved messages
to Outlook should I decide to do that?

Thank you very much.

Look here for all the information you need on backup and restoration of

Yes, you can export your Outlook Express mail to Outlook if both are
installed on the same machine.

Wow! That was just what I was looking for in regard to backing up
Outlook stuff. Thank you.

And, it never dawned on me to look in OE to export to Outlook. I was
concentrating on looking in Outlook to import from OE. Another thank
you.

You're double welcome. :-)
