I have just installed a new internal hard drive that is 4 times the siz
of the original. I have windows XP. Is it easier to transfer files t
the bigger one to free up my original hard drive and continue to us
that OR should I make the bigger one the master and the old one th
slave - if so, how do I do this. And if I should decide to keep i
simple and just transfer files I don't use that much to the new bigge
drive, what is the best way to do that - I assume the programs need t
be reinstalled, can all others simply be copied over using window
explorer? The original is 13 gigs the new one 40 gigs.

Thanks for your help

You could use a disk copying program to move your installed Windows XP
from the old drive to the new drive. Check with your new disk
manufacturer's web site - they usually have one available for free
download.

Or you could just move data files from the old drive to the new drive
using Windows Explorer.

Good luck
