Bill Michelson

Ive purchased and installed a second hard drive for my
computer.

I have installed it successfully and it works great.

What I need to do is transfer all of my files on my old
drive (C) to my new one (E) so that I can take out my old
one permanently without having any problems.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Bill Michelson

Bill, you can drag and drop files but you can't do that with your programs.
I would suggest either you purchase Ghost or Drive Image to copy your old
disk to the new one. The only other alternative is to reinstall XP on the
new drive and move your files over from the old.

I think the easiest way is to get a utility like 'Ghost'
and clone the old one to the new.

Bill,
Your new drive should have came with a floppy that you can boot with and
copy the old
to the new. If it didn't come with one, check the drive manufactures
website.
Good Luck,
Tom
