transfer address book from outlook xp v6 to outlook 2000

How do I transfer my address book that I had in outlook
xp v6 into outlook 2000 ?
When trying to import it into to the outlook 2000 thet
outlook xp v6 isn't recognized !
 
You can't. You can only import it into OE. From there you can import into
Outlook.
