Transcenders app "stops working correctly" when trying to activate

I have just installed a working copy of Transcender provided by the company I
work for. It was working fine on XP, but after installation and trying to
activate the app, Vista throws up an error message saying "Transcender Exam
Preparation has stopped working". I have turned off the Firewall, and
Defender. Can someone help?
 
Try Compatibility Mode:
Right click the program icon and click Properties.
Click Compatibility tab.
Make selections and Click OK.

Otherwise contact Transcender for Windows Vista compatibility
information.
