Tracking e-Mails

Hi to all and Happy New Year:
When I use Outlook 2002 the activities tab tracks all the incoming and
outgoing e-Mails. I just received an e-Mail and sent a response to one of
my "Business Contact" contacts and I see nothing being tracked. What am I
doing wrong? Thanks in advance for all your help

My best guess would be rebuild the contact from an incoming message (right
click the from field and choose add to contacts).
