Is it posible any way for Microsoft to locate my XP Home, and I come to a
lack of a word here, s/n, reg./# or what ever MS uses, if my, which it was,
laptop was stolen and if connected online and MS did a remote connection, and
did a ipconfig /all then tell me the IP so I could tell the ISP the IP then
they tell me the location. Although that may violate the privacy act.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Not possible. You need to buy another computer and, this time, take care
of it.

Alias

You need to setup before hand.

No. There are third-party security services that do that sort of tracking,
but they would have had to be installed and subscribed to previously. Use
the insurance money to buy a new laptop.
