I definitely agree and have feature to choose which file formats it should
delete from the folder since applications such as Microsoft Word utilizes
Temp folder to create back copies just in case a file becomes corrupt or was
not saved properly.

You mean the MSN Messenger message log. Go to Tools > Options > Message
under Message History, uncheck "Automatically keep a history of my
conversations."
