Hi,

I am trying to setup a build with Touch Screen Drivers (XP compatible).
the setup goes fine but after the install when trying to setup the
controller I get:
"Application Error: The instruction at "0x004088ae" referenced memory at
"0x00000008".
The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program."
I've tried to replace the RAM module- and it's the fault of a bad memory.
I've tried to install it again on a different XPe Build I have which is more
expanded with features (more like xppro..) and the drivers worked great with
no problems...
now- what to do? how do I know what's missing? those two builds are
complitly different and it is almost impossible to compare them..

I'd be happy for any advise.
by the way, I'm using a Worcol touch screen (www.worcol.com).

thanks,

Yaron Maor.

Yaron,

I haven't worked with that touch screen driver so can't tell you the
particular list of components you need in your image.
However, there is always a way to find out missing components - using
Filemon/Regmon tools, and Dependency Walker.

Also, there are a few touchscreen components on www.xpefiles.com (byt not
Worcol one, I think) that may help you to find out missing components for
your touchscreen driver.
