Hi,

I'm having some trouble with setting the default page in
IE. I set my default page only to have it change to this
(http://www.searchvph.com) after I reboot my machine. I'm
suspecting some virus or something...

Any thoughts.

I've had a couple cases of browser hijackers in the last
few months. I've gotten rid of them by using
instructions/spyware from the net.

Now, however, my browser won't allow me to change the
default page saying I don't have permission. "This
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect
on this computer. Please contact your system
administrator."

I checked help files and followed those instructions but
on my Windows 98 system, I don't have a remote
administrator option or any other they refer to.

I also made a regedit change recommended from Microsoft's
support page. What do I do now?

Karen
