Hi-
Trying to make my networked database more secure so I hid a bunch of menus
including the tools menu. How can I get those back? I need to use the tools,
options page.

Hold the shift key down while you open your database. This will bypass any
startup options you set.

Try holding the shift key down when opening the database.

Now that you know how little security you really have, I suggest user
level security.

Access security is a great feature, but it is, by nature a complex product
with a very steep learning curve. Properly used it offers very safe
versatile protection and control. However a simple mistake can lock
everyone including God out.

Practice on some copies to make sure you know what you are doing.
