I have IE 6, and when I go to tools>internet options I get
this restricted error msg. "This operation has been
cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator." It used to
work fine. I tried uninstalling IE 6, and re-installing.
That didn't help. Any suggestions please?

Do you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed?
If so>start>programs>SS&D (advanced mode)>immunise>uncheck the 3 items at
the bottom.

Thx for the quick repsonse. I did have Spybot installed.
Didn't like it, uninstalled. Guess I'll have in install it
again, change those 3 things, then uninstall again.

No need to reinstall and change the setting. Edit teh registry NoBrowserOptions and set it to 0.
