Toolbars locked

My toolbars on IE6 have locked and options under view
toolbars are greyed out. If I Right click on the toolbar
the Unlock Toolbar or Customise options do not appear.
Anyone help?

I am having the very same problem, it started a day or

two ago, and it's really frustrating, it took me 20 mins
just to find this post. I hope someone out there has some
idea how to fix this. PLEASE HELP US!!!!!!!
 
OK. So I've managed to fix the problem myself.
It appears there are parasites running on the PC which get
in and attack and run via Internet Explorer.
Go to the following link
http://www.aumha.org/a/parasite.htm
and follow the Anti-Parasite Quick Fix details.
It envolves downloading a couple of free shareware
programs and running them. It takes a bit of time and
being careful, but it DOES work.
You may also find that some anti parasite web sites will
not load, but persevere and do things in the correct order
and you WILL get through it.
