If you are changing folders, it is expected. So, if you have a Flag
toolbar, it does not appear when you are in your calendar folder. Likewise,
some toolbars are specific to the folder and the item type in the folder.
Is this what you are experiencing? If not, then close Outlook, find and
rename outcmd.dat to .old. Reopen Outlook and then recreate all of your
toolbars and customizations.
This time, after you are finished, copy the outcmd.dat file to a safe place
in case it becomes corrupt again (happens more often than it should). If it
does, just delete it and replace it with the saved outcmd.dat file.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, lawrence asked:
| I customize my toolbars, and they keep changing. They
| will be OK for a while, then they will change. It happens
| during a session, i.e. I haven't closed/opened Outlook and
| it happens.
|
| Any ideas?
