Toolbars come and go?

I'm designing a basic master form that contains several controls including
subformas displayed as datasheets. The problem is that as the user navigates
into or out of a datasheet subform, Access displays toggles the display of
form related toolbars as the context and focus dictate. The practical issues
is that as toolbars come and go as the user navigates, it shift the form up
and down to make room for the toolbar. As you can imagine this is
exasperating for the user.

How can I control the display of toolbars. Ideally, I would like to have a
single custom toolbar and not ever displayu any of the standard toolbars.
Thanks for your help.

what version of Access are you using?

Don't have 2003 handy at work, but will take a look tonight, if no one else
provides the details.

As I recall, there is a menu option (I think it is something like Database -
Startup Options) that contains a checkbox about displaying standard menus.
If you uncheck this, then those menus will not appear.
