I cannot restore the toolbar across the bottom of the screen to vertical as
opposed to vertical. when I tap the explorer icon it takes about 60 seconds
to launce google or msn. thank you forum.

I can't make much sense out of that question, so I'll guess that your task
bar is on the side of the screen and you want it on the bottom. If so, read
the following"

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen, it can
be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any side to
another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it where you want it.
Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge; clicking on the edge and
dragging will resize it



If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it and
uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.

I would guess that English is not the OP's native language and I know
your snide comment was uncalled for. What languages do you speak besides
