toolbar reset

Someone has screwed up the toolbar on the top of my ie
how do I reset to default settings in xp - I've tried
view toolbars reset didnt do it anything else would be
nice

This utility (or KB article reference) might help. Sometimes IE gets
lost as to which toolbar is for what.
 
Gary,
Run regedit. Delete this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
Restart.
That should restore the default toolbar.
