I don't know if this is a Windows question or Word, but does anyone know how
to change the information that displays in a tool tip? I know to change the
color you make that change in your display property. A user is wanting to
have the file type and the last modified date and time displaying in her tool
tip from the open or save dialog box. She swears it use to display the last
modified date and time. Now from her open and save dialog box, when you let
the mouse rest on a file name, it displays the file type and size in the tool
tip. Does anyone know how I can change this information?

Hmm. Mine shows Type, Author, Title, and Size. If you use Details view, you
can choose the columns to display, and of course these can include the
Modified date/time.

Yes and I showed the user how to change views. I acutally found something
about the tool tip in the Windows newsgroup. Apparently when sp2 was
installed it changed the information that displayed in the tool tip. You can
change the registry file or the new service pack Microsoft has will fix it.
Thanks for your help! I always appreciate such quick feedback.
