took RAM out

Took RAM out of computer and turned it on. Heard some beeps. Trurned computer
off and replaced RAM. Now computer won't boot. What happeded and how do I fix?

You probably;y didn't re-seat the RAM properly, or knocked something else
out.
<Sigh> Why did you remove the RAM in the first place?
 
I was checking to see if one of my RAM cards was bad. Was receiving an Error
Message/Termination error after exiting an Autocad program. Just got curious
and took out the RAM.
