Hi there,
I have been testing out wifi adaptors of usb and pcmcia type. Now my laptop
is showing "Wireless Network Connection 6" . Looks like I have got 6
connections. How do I get rid of the older connections? I think they are
interfering with the internet connection.
Can someone please help? Thank you for your kind attention.

I think that is just showing that is the sixth wireless connection that was created.
You should be able to right click that connection and choose to rename it and
just remove the number 6.

Thanks for reply. I edited it. About the registry entries, are they affecting
each other? If delete, please show me what should be deleted and what
not.Thanks again.

To see if there are other wireless network devices installed, follow
the steps in this Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

Device Manager does not display devices that are not connected to the
Windows XP-based computer
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539/en-us

If there are, you can uninstall them in Device Manager.
