This XP Home edition is terrible and very difficult to
use.

Here are my problems: HELP HELP IS BADLY NEEDED. Please
email me the corrective actions.

1. I used the spreadsheet and it would not print... it
keeps on printing to the FAX (I do not have any fax
machine), rathwer to my HP Deskjet 657C printer.

PS: I am not having any problems printing a wordpad
document, but the spreadsheets would NOT PRINT.

2. I was using a WORD document, why can't my receipients
red this document as an attachment to my email...
everyone claims it is garble!!! WHY WHY WHY.

1 EVEN TOOK THE PAINS OF REWRITING MY ENTIRE DOCUMENT 3x
AND FILED IT IN DIFFERENT VERSIONS IN THE SCROLL
DOWN "SAVE AS BUTTON".

3. In EXCEL, if you press down the control shift key, you
can sequence 1,2,3,4 automatically... why doesn't this
happen in Spreadsheets. It can only fill 11111 or 22222.

4. Why can't you cut and paste in the spreadsheet?

PLEASE RESPOND RIGHT AWAY TO RESTORE MY FAITH IN
MICROSOFT.

Why would you place your *FAITH* in a corporate entity in the first
place?

Teri, I don't know the answer to all your problems but little if any of them
have anything to do with the OS your running, they are all MS Office
related.
The only question I probably can answer is #1. I would have to assume that
you are clicking on the print icon in the spreadsheet and your default
printer for Excel is the Fax. Try clicking File and then Print and in the
pulldown box pick your printer.
I would suspect that if you posted in "microsoft.public.office.misc" you
would find the answers to all your questions.

I'm not an XP expert but I do know a few things about Excel and Word. When you
print in Excel and the print box comes up, what printer is shown? You may have
Excel printing by default to the fax. Do the recipients of your Word file also
have Word installed? The third question I don't understand. Pressing control
shift should not do anything like what you are saying. Secondly, since Excel is
a spreadsheet, what do you mean by it doesn't happen in spreadsheets? Lastly,
you can cut and paste in Excel. You have many options in cutting and pasting in
Excel such as Value, Format etc. Perhaps you could be more specific about your
problems.
